Kashgar Customs x Suolianda: Enhancing the Efficiency and Quality of Cross-border Customs Clearance

On November 1st this year, the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) celebrated its second anniversary. Two years ago on this day, my country's youngest FTZ made its debut. As the first FTZ in Northwest my country's border region, the Xinjiang FTZ opened its doors, unleashing the "golden channel" connecting Eurasia and creating a "bridgehead" for my country's westward opening-up.
The Xinjiang FTZ comprises three areas: Urumqi, Kashgar, and Khorgos. Geographically, these three areas are located in northern, southern, and western Xinjiang, forming a combined layout of land ports, airports, and cross-border ports. This creates an open system covering Northwest China, making it a crucial platform for Xinjiang to connect with Eurasia and the domestic market. In just two years, the Xinjiang FTZ has witnessed a surge in "firsts," "first orders," "first transactions," and "first trips," becoming a vital engine for promoting high-quality development of Xinjiang's foreign trade. In the first nine months of this year, the Xinjiang FTZ's foreign trade import and export volume exceeded 155 billion yuan, accounting for 40% of Xinjiang's total foreign trade. In the first three quarters, Xinjiang's total import and export value reached 393.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%, 18.1 percentage points higher than the national average, setting a new record for the same period.

On October 17th, in Kashgar, Xinjiang, Kashgar Customs officials installed a HHDLINK smart lock on the door of a truck bound for Central Asian countries.
We are honored that HHDLINK AIoT have become part of the Shigatse International Land Port's international logistics hub.
In practical application, cross-border transport vehicles equipped with HHDLINK smart locks can seamlessly connect with the port's monitoring system, significantly shortening vehicle dwell time at the port and effectively reducing transportation time and manpower communication costs for enterprises.
We hope to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hub operations through technological innovation. The application of AIoT not only optimizes the customs clearance process at a single port but also enables the interconnection of cross-regional logistics data, laying the foundation for subsequent digital management and control of the entire cross-border logistics chain.
This implementation at the Shigatse International Land Port is another important practice of HHDLINK electronic locks in the cross-border logistics hub scenario. In the future, HHDLINK will continue to deepen its involvement in the field of supply chain security, relying on technological iteration and scenario-based solution innovation to provide more cross-border logistics hubs and ports with efficient and convenient regulatory support services, helping China's cross-border trade move towards a more efficient, convenient and intelligent direction.
